Chromebook Network Connectivity

Connecting your Chromebook to another wireless network is easy!

Toggle the Network Switch

  • At the bottom right, select the time.
  • Select the Wi-Fi icon. If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Toggle the Wi-Fi switch off and then back on.
  • Your Chromebook will automatically look for and list the available networks.

Setting up Home Wi-Fi on a Chromebook

  • At the bottom right, select the time.
  • Click on the small arrow next to Not connected, below the Wi-Fi symbol and the Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.

Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.

  • Select your Wi-Fi Network.
  • Type the Wi-Fi password if it calls for one.
  • Select Connect.

Not connected to the correct network

  • At the bottom right, select the time.
  • Select the Wi-Fi icon.
  • Select the incorrect network that the device is connected to; Select Forget.

If you are still experiencing issues after trying the steps above, try resetting your chromebook.
