
If your Chromebook is damaged, contact the Customer Support Center at (757) 263-1111 or contact your school’s TST. In either case, we will give you a replacement Chromebook. Under no circumstances should you open and attempt to repair your Chromebook. Touching the wrong components may not only damage the computer, it may void the warranty and seriously hurt you. Let a district technician handle any repairs.
Please be aware that fees may be assessed for damage at the discretion of your principal.
Chromebooks should be swapped if problems are related to one of the following:
- Screen is cracked
- Keys are missing or sticking
- Power cord is broken or missing
- Device will not charge
- Headphone plug is broken inside jack
- USB port is damaged
